Fred Cerrato, the founder of Directive ONE, served as a private security specialist in the Middle East for three years. He is a lifelong firearms enthusiast, holding multiple instructor certifications from top organizations in North America as well as being a CA DOJ Instructor. Fred is also a very accomplished martial arts instructor having a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with 20 plus years of training in BJJ alone. He also has over 30 years in the areas of boxing, kickboxing, Judo, Kali and self-defense.

Having been through many courses in firearms, self-protection, along with techniques on combat breathing to calm the mind and body during stressful encounters. These studies were taken with top instrcutors in their fields, so knowledge is passed with authority back to his students. Fred possesses a unique perspective on teaching and instructing civilians, LEO, and military personnel.
